Australia’s 15th Year of celebrating Fashion will see young designer Jon Schembri launch by johnny ‘The Beginning…’ Summer 2010 collection in New Generation at RAFW 2010.
Honoured to take part in such a landmark period of the Australian fashion industry, the by johnny Summer 2010 collection will take you back to where it all began, recreating the new age 21st century Eve.

Jon Schembri’s journey to ‘The Beginning…’ started after completing a diploma of fashion design at St George TAFE in 2006. He has had the pleasure to collaborate with many fashion industry insiders and influencers alike.
2008 saw Jon crowned the official designer for the illustrious 2008 Golden Slipper Carnival. Jon designed and made one of a kind race wear frocks for ambassadors, Jewellery Designer Samantha Wills , TV Host Ali Mutch and Sports Star Lauren Eagle, just to name a few.

The by johnny debut collection was released in the emerging designer sector of the Rosemount Australian Fashion Festival in August 2009.
Over the Summer of 2009, following the success of a sold out first collection, by johnny continued to design and sell the very popular must have party dresses to many of Sydney’s female socialites.

May 7th 2010 will see Jon Schembri’s lifelong dream become a reality, it is ‘The Beginning…’.
